My plans for this month

Unlike in the previous three Review Copy Cleanups, this time I have a specific goal for this challenge. I have quite a big pile of books to get through and since most of these are released in February, it would be great if I could read and review them before their release date. As for paperbacks, these are the ones I’ll be reading:

Review Copy Cleanup 2014
A Hundred Pieces of Me | The Book Thief | Don’t Stand So Close | This is the Life

The first book on my reading list is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I received this one back in December but with me going home for the holidays and the general craziness of the Christmas holidays I never managed to pick it up. I was planning on reading it before the film came out here in the UK (26 February) but Transworld invited me to an advance screening on the 6th February so I’ll do my best to read it before then.

Next I’ll be reading Don’t Stand So Close by Luana Lewis (13 February), a gripping psychological drama, also published by Transworld. I’m taking part in the official blog tour with a review and a competition, so keep your eyes peeled if you’d like to win a copy of the book – I’ll have five hardbacks to give away!

In the last two weeks of the month I’m planning on reading A Hundred Pieces of Me by Lucy Dillon (27 February), which I won in a Twitter competition. Hodder & Stoughton invited me to the book launch on the 26th so this is another book I want to finish before the event. :) And last but not least, This is the Life by Alex Shearer (27 February), which was a review copy from HarperCollins.

NetGalley

vengeance

From my NetGalley to-be-read pile I’ll be reading Vengeance by Megan Miranda (13 February). I absolutely loved Megan’s first book so fingers crossed this one is just as brilliant!

What books are on your list? How many books are you aiming for?
